The robotic arm on the competition table with its control station and first-place ribbon

I designed and built this arm myself: the frame, the wiring, and the Raspberry Pi that drives the servos through an Adafruit motor HAT.

Then I wrapped it in a Tkinter control panel, so it wasn’t just mine to use. Anyone can pick it up and move the arm without reading a line of code, and the end effector takes swappable mounts for gripping.

It took first place at the State of Illinois Robotics competition.
