Robotic Arm: Built from Scratch
A robotic arm I built from scratch, with a Tkinter interface simple enough that anyone can drive it. 1st Place, State of Illinois Robotics.

I designed and built this arm myself: the frame, the wiring, and the Raspberry Pi that drives the servos through an Adafruit motor HAT.
Then I wrapped it in a Tkinter control panel, so it wasn’t just mine to use. Anyone can pick it up and move the arm without reading a line of code, and the end effector takes swappable mounts for gripping.
It took first place at the State of Illinois Robotics competition.
